This month, iN-TEA is collaborating with our local chapter of the Audubon Society!
The Denver Audubon has been providing vitally important services to Denver since 1969. Their longstanding commitment to improving the quality of avian wildlife in the area is so inspiring to us; we simply had to learn more about what they do.
The mission for our city’s chapter? “Inspiring actions that protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through education, conservation, and research.” These folks spend their time hosting classes, field trips, summer camps, and so much more in order to promote awareness about our local avian friends. They even offer a Master Birder program for adults!
We love the Audubon Society’s vision, and so it only makes sense that we’d craft our monthly drink board with them! This month, all our featured teas are named after local and migratory birds that can be found in the Denver metro area and beyond during this time of year. Just a few examples include the Broad-tailed Hummingbird, the Greater Sage Grouse, and the Sandhill Crane.
Join us in the shop to “spot” a tea from our board until the end of May! We fully encourage all to visit the Denver Audubon’s website to learn more and plan a visit to their nature center near Waterton Canyon in Littleton. You might just spot one of the birds featured on our menu!
