Naturally very low in caffeine, considered by some to be the “hot chocolate” of teas! Now a standard tea in Japan, Hojicha was invented in 1926 by an estate owner not wanting to throw away the abundant harvest of green tea. He roasted the surplus and created a new Japanese favorite!
