Peach blossom white, hot. Waikiki Beach, iced. Enough said.
Which tea would you recommend to a “newbee” visiting for the first time? For a connoisseur?
Do you like coconut? Vanilla Coconut if yes, Winter Mint if no! For a connoisseur, the Royal Golden Yunnan Supreme is killer!
When are you most likely to be found working at the shop?
Weekends, my day job is school.
When not working, where are you most likely to be found/what are your hobbies?
Reading, writing, talking to strangers, and the weirdos I call my friends. I also enjoy arguing, long walks, and the classic poking dead things with sticks.
Do you own any pets? Tell us about them!
I own two dogs, Chester and Jojo. Jojo is an old cinnamon lab and Chester is a two year old mischievous mutt. Oh Yeah! And a little sister named Jenna.
What are your favorite genres of music…?!
I wanna rock n’ roll all night, and party every day!
Tell us what you’re currently studying in school! Completed school? What DID you study?
Currently I am studying the fine art of writing. And no, that does not mean that I sit in dark corners all class period.
Do you have any children? Tell us about them!
I’m 16..so no…however, I have three bros. Their names are Nico, Zach, and Dan. I keep them out of trouble. That’s kinda like having kids, right?
Favorite vacation spot and/or memory?
As cliché as it as, Paris at night is beautiful.
What is your favorite restaurant?
I like food. I like food a lot, so this changes daily… today I think it’s Steve’s Snappin’ Dogs! Nice people, and the best vegetarian Chicago Dogs ever!

Favorite childhood memory…
Oh man…there’s way too many…probably the big blizzard when I was in 1st grade. Pretty much I got to run around in snow over my head with my best friend Lily. It was great.
What do you do to relax?
Eat chocolate, watch “How I Met Your Mother” or go on a walk-usually to Clement Park.

I don’t know if this counts but if I’m driving at night I always want to listen to Pink Floyd.

For Alex, we chose WuYi: One of our favorite and well-known Oolong teas. To make an Oolong, one requires the most skilled hands and experience.
